Applehead has worked with and managed rock bands, musicians, writers and artists such as Philpot, Mark Johnson and The Wild Alligators, Travis Meeks (Days of the New) and Audrey Tucker. Our specialty and niche is artist and idea development. We also work with engineers, producers, actors and athletes. Our media experience gives us the added dimension of press agent for clients who seek expertise in that area. Our expanding roster now includes Duncan Christy ("The Blue State Blues")  and Meek Sol ("Can't Sleep")

Philpot was brought to our attention by Gary Meeks, Travis Meeks' Dad. They had opened some shows for Days of the New and recorded an incredible 8 song self titled CD in Nashville ("The Nashville Sessions"). Philpot rehearses and writes songs in a flower shop in Dugger, Indiana. In February 2005 we brought the band to New York City and produced (with Philpot) their album Bitch Be The World (Applehead Records, 2005). Then came "Hate Writes Better Than Love" (Applehead/Toucan Cove/Universal Records).
